The candidates available through TheFinalList are all high calibre and have been chosen according to their ability and achievements. All candidates have been interviewed by David Stevens International's consultants and all are currently looking for a career move.
We use the following criteria to evaluate the qualities we look for in candidates:
- All candidates can demonstrate considerable achievements in their careers to date.
- Different roles and disciplines require different abilities and personal attributes and these are obviously taken into account during our assessment. Within this diversity, however, we are assessing proven common traits of highly talented people. For example, traits we will look for in general managers include the following:

- Self-confidence
- Ability to lead, organise and inspire others
- Self-awareness
- Depth and perspective
- Social sensitivity
In specialist roles, the abilities we look for may differ in some aspects from those mentioned above.
