PRIVACY STATEMENT
1 David Stevens International, which owns the rights to TheFinalList, is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you. We strictly adhere to the requirements of the data protection legislation in the UK and the European Directive of October 24 1995 on the protection of individuals concerning the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.
The purpose of this statement is to explain to you what personal information we collect and how we may use it.
2 As a client, when you contact us to request a candidate profile or profiles, we ask you for your name, company, telephone number and email address. As a candidate, your brief non-identifiable profile will only appear on the site after TheFinalList consultants have interviewed and assessed you. In order to appear on TheFinalList site, you will see and approve your non-identifiable career summary and give your permission for it to be placed on the site.
3 We only register data and use your personal information for the purposes of our executive search service. Data is entered on our proprietary database and can only be accessed by employees of David Stevens International/The FinalList.
4 We do not sell, rent or exchange your personal information with any third party for commercial reasons. Personal data is only used in the pursuance of our work in executive recruitment and related services, the terms and conditions of which are available on request. We will only contact you with your consent and always obtain your unequivocal consent before sharing personal data with clients.
5 We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access in accordance with the UK data protection legislation. We do not collect or keep sensitive information (eg. concerning racial, political, religious beliefs or opinions, sexual orientation, trade union membership or health issues). In order to maintain the accuracy of our database, you can check, update or remove your personal details by emailing us on dsi@davidstevensint.co.uk.
We use a technology called "cookies" as part of a normal business procedure to track patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. A cookie is an element of data that our Website sends to your browser which is then stored on your system. You can set your browser to prevent this happening. Any information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you change your browser settings.
